The 6-acre Makunudu Island is a tropical beachfront getaway, steps from spectacular dive spots. It features a diving school that provides PADI courses and a water sports centre offering water skiing and windsurfing. Guests can visit the spa for relaxing massages, or sign up for an excursion to nearby islands and fishing villages. Makunudu Island also has a library and TV room, as well as volleyball and badminton facilities. Bungalows at Makunudu Island feature wooden flooring and furniture. Each room has a minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, and a work desk. The attached garden bathrooms come with open-air hot and cold shower. Guests can have an early breakfast on the beach while watching the sunrise. Ara Iru Restaurant serves international dishes and seafood specialities. Wines and liquors can be enjoyed at Sand Bar. Please note that guests must advise the total number of passengers travelling, arrival and departure flight details at the time of booking, at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

The resort will arrange for a round trip 50-minute speedboat transfer to the hotel from Malé International Airport. All additional costs are to be paid directly to the hotel.

Round trip transfers cost USD 185 per adult, USD 139 per child (6-14 years
old) and are free for children below 6 years old. Taxes are not inclusive.

Please note that sea plane operations are from 06:00 to 18:00 (Malé time).

There will be a compulsory gala dinner on 24 and 31 Dec 2012, which will incur an extra charge of USD 99 per adult and USD 75 per child (not including taxes). This is to be paid directly at the hotel.
